Heath is a dad, husband and businessman.  He and his wife enjoy raising their three children Emma, Ben and Asher in Rock Hill.    He's a member of Oakland Baptist Church and currently serves as chair of the Personnel Committee.  Heath is also a graduate of the University of South Carolina and serves as the Vice President of a local land clearing contractor.

Currently Heath serves on the House Medical subcommittee of the Military, Medical, Public and Municipal Affiars.
